HOW TO CALCULATE FOR FILMS ROLLS

1- THE NUMBER OF ROLLS REQUIRED

a) Number of prints X print length (in inches)= Total
b) Total in inches / 2 = Number of feet
c) Number of feet / standard roll size = Number of rolls (X2 to encapsulate)

Example :
a) 100 X 48'' = 4800
b) 4800'' / 12' = 400 ft
c) 400' / 250' = 1.6RL (2) one side - 3.2RL (4) two sides

2- MSI CALCULATION PER ROLL

Film width X Roll length X .012 = Total of MSI X price of MSI

Example :
38'' X 250' X .012 = 114 MSI X MSI price
(Total of roll price)

3- CALCULATION OF THE PRICE PER SHEET

Film width X sheet size / 1000 X MSI price = Printing cost

Example :
Film 3/2 PET 38” X 250'
image size : 36” X 48” MSI cost 2.15 $

(38 x 48) / par 1 000 X 2.15 =
3.92  for one side - 7.84 for two sides
